Ralph’s pet sitting in Carmel Valley

Writer: Del Mar Dog LifeDel Mar Dog Life

We really enjoyed house sitting for Ralph in Carmel Valley this weekend. This was our third time pet sitting Ralph while his family was away and he is such a sweet dog.

Ralph has some immunity issues and his family is worried about the dog RSV illness that is spreading so we only went on solo walks. In the morning we went to One Paseo which is one of our favorite spots for walks and Ralph was able to sniff the Christmas trees.

Even though he is a cute little dog, Ralph was anxious after his parents left and was barking through the wall loud enough for his neighbors to hear. Ralph has had a difficult time this year after losing his older pack member and he was not comfortable being alone in the house. I was only scheduled for a few walks over the weekend but decided to stay overnight so that he would relax without more barking.

If you’re interested in destination walks for your dog, feel free to contact us. We offer services such as weekly walks, adventure hikes, canine cafe visits, and pet sitting visits to your home during the holidays. Although our overnight house sitting is fully booked, there’s still availability for other pet care services in Del Mar, Solana Beach, Rancho Santa Fe, and Carmel Valley, including group walks, drop-in visits, dog walking, and pet sitting.
